Security

Home security usually means the physical security of the home and in the case of the autonomous home this is indeed part of the security we talk about. However, there is more to security than just the sensors, cameras and motion detectors of today. The home can actully infer the intentions of people approaching the home through artificial intelligence built into the home. Additionally, people who are brooght into the home for maintenance and indeed all people who are inside the perimiter of the home are tracked with the same inference intelligent software to see ifr their actions are equal to the tasks they are supposed to be performing.

Seurity also means the safety of the home during poor weather conditions. In taday's world of climate change all homes should be equiped with window and door shutters, automatic blinds, and image detection of foreign items in the yard or proximity to the home. Again this latter item is accomplished though computer vision object detection and the AI system determines the inference from the image deterction system. For instance, if a tree falls down the system will determine the extent of the damage and weather a call to emergency services immediagtely is warranted.
